Sit in the Co-Pilot seat...

I cant believe its been awhile since I have been on here. Time sure does fly. Ok, maybe I was a little hasty on the men thing. But sometimes guys are just jerks. You get to know them and bam!, you finally figure out what type of person they are. One of these days he will come into my life.

Last wednesday I had one of the greatest days of my life. I finally got on a plane, a corporate jet. There were a couple of us from my office went to Texas for a couple of hours. I was asked if I wanted to go. I was hesitate at first but decided to go. Since it was going to be a short trip, 45 mins in the air, I was going to take the chance. We got to the local airport and there it sat. I was terrified. As we got closer someone told the pilots that this was my first flight. Well one of the pilots told me to hop up in there. I didnt know what to expect so I was turning to the right to the seats and the pilot said no. YOU sit in the co-pilot seat. I thought he just wanted me to check it out. OH NO, he wanted me to sit there for the ride of my life. I was beyond terrified. I sat there and the pilot hopped in and showed me how to buckle up. My heart was thumping so hard I am sure he heard it. He told me to put on my headset so we could talk if I had any questions. At the moment I couldnt think of anything to say. I had all these gauges and joystick right in front of me. The pilot proceeded checking the gauges while the jet engines were getting louder. I know you could see my heart thumping in chest. The window to my left was huge. I could see everything. We taxid to the runway. I couldnt turn back now. He shoved the throttle forward and off we went. OH CRAP!!! We were moving very fast. Then it was lift off. I was watching outside and what the pilot was doing at the same time. It was unreal. I was finally doing it. I was flying. It was the most amazing thing I had ever seen. The ground was moving farther and farther away. Everything was so small. I was snapping pictures like crazy, glad I had a digital camera. It took us 42 mins to get where to where we were going. With the headset on I could talk to the pilot and listen to the towers, and listen to airplanes close to us. It was awesome. We had an on board radar so we could see planes near us. I asked alot of questions. The Pilot was so cool. He explained everything in detail. It was great. He was good and not bad to look at either . Ok, he was hot. We had a smooth landing. It was a perfect flight. I let someone else ride in the seat on the way back. I sat in the back. And I can tell you with experence the best place to sit is in the co-pilot seat...
